Pharmaceutical Assistance
Many drug companies offer certain drugs on a no-cost or low-cost basis for patients earning less than 200% FPL ($1,815/month for 1 person in 2011).  Each company has its own eligibility criteria.  The Pharmacy Program at URI helps match people with the appropriate company.  The person's doctor needs to request the medication.
