•  Department of Revenue Report :Year to Date FY2010 Assessment Report Through May 2010 (Updated 7.6.10)
Collections for the first 11 months of  FY2010 are $10.5 million LESS than originally estimated at the May Revenue Estimatin conference.  This is the first report since the May Revenue Estimating Conference.

 
Department of Revenue Report : Cash Collections Revenue Brief FY10 through May 2010 (Updated 7.6.10)
FY2010 total General Revenues collected through May 2010 have increased  by 3.9% compared to the previous year.  May's report indicated they were running 2.0% ahead of the prior year.

House Fiscal Advisory Staff - Fiscal Year Collections to Date (updated 5.11.10) -  The revenue collections reported for FY10 through February 2010 (prepared in March 2010).  Revenue collections are running $9.2 million ahead House fiscal staff estimates.

Final collections dropped from $1,074.00 million in FY2008 to $942.1 million in FY2009, a decrease of $131.9 million

Preliminary final collections up to June 30, 2010 for FY2010 are $4 million less than during the same period during FY2009.  Collections are declining compared to May 31, 2010 when YTD collections were $13.6 million more than FY2009.  The Budget as Enacted was based on a Person Income Tax Estimate of $933.0 million.  This report indicates that only $909.7 million will be collected, leaving a $23.3 shortfall in the FY2010.

Final collections dropped from $832.8 million in FY2008 to $801.9 million in FY2009, a decrease of $30.9 million

Preliminary final collections up to June 30, 2010 for FY2010 are $16.0 million less than during the same period during FY2009.  Collections increased compared to May 31, 2010 when YTD collections were $19.2 million less than FY2009.  The Budget as Enacted was based on a Sales and Use Tax Estimate of $743.7 million.  This report indicates that $785.9 million will be collected, which is $42.6 more than estimated.

Preliminary final collections up toJune 30, 2010 for FY2010 are $2 million more than during the same period during FY2009.   Collections continue to improve compared to May 31, 2010 when YTD collections were $9.7 million more than FY2009.  The Budget as Enacted was based on a Business Corporations Tax Estimate of $100.0 million.  This report indicates that $118.7 million will be collected, which is $18.7 more than estimated.
